| Because the focus is on the interaction between you and your baby, the instructor demonstrates the techniques on a doll and provides coaching to parents, rather than demonstrating on your baby. Learning and practicing the art of infant massage is a meaningful way to interact with and demonstrate your unconditional love for your baby. Group instruction is available to parents of newborns until before the baby begins to crawl. Infant massage is also beneficial for older children and children with special needs; semiprivate and private sessions are available in these cases. Sessions are scheduled 1-2 times per week depending on client preference and instructor availability. Evening sessions are available. |
